Refund policy

Overview

Sabroso Dance Academy provides in-person classes, courses, workshops, and related services. Due to the nature of these services, refunds are not automatic and are assessed on a case-by-case basis.

This policy explains when refunds may be considered and how to request one.


Booking and Payment

When you book a class, course, or event with Sabroso Dance Academy, you are reserving a place in that session. Once payment is completed and your booking is confirmed, your place is secured.

Please review all details carefully before completing your purchase.


Refund Requests (Case-by-Case)

Refund requests must be submitted by email to:

All refund requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and granted at the sole discretion of Sabroso Dance Academy.

When reviewing a request, we may consider factors including (but not limited to):

  • Notice given before the class or course start date

  • Whether the class or course has already begun

  • Attendance or non-attendance

  • Exceptional or unforeseen circumstances

Submitting a request does not guarantee a refund.


Non-Refundable Situations

Unless required by law, refunds will generally not be issued for:

  • Missed classes or sessions

  • Late arrivals

  • Change of mind after a class or course has started

  • Failure to attend due to personal scheduling conflicts

  • Promotional, discounted, or free sessions


Free Taster Sessions

Free taster sessions are provided at no cost and are non-refundable. Booking a free taster does not create an obligation for Sabroso Dance Academy to offer a refund or alternative session if you do not attend.


Class Cancellations by Us

If Sabroso Dance Academy cancels a class, workshop, or course for any reason, you will be offered one of the following:

  • A rescheduled session

  • Credit toward a future class

  • A full refund, where appropriate


Right to Cancel (UK Consumer Law)

Under UK consumer law, you may have the right to cancel certain purchases made online within 14 days of purchase, provided that:

  • The service has not yet started, and

  • You have not attended or accessed any part of the service.

Once a class or course has started, or you have attended a session, the right to cancel may no longer apply.


How Refunds Are Issued

If a refund is approved:

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

  • Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear
